Reminders

* The men's basketball team will host Drake at 7:05 p.m. today (Tuesday, Jan. 4) in Charles Koch Arena. Call 978-3267 for tickets.

* The Kansas Board of Regents has announced that a Roth 403(b) after-tax option will be added to the KBOR Voluntary 403(b) Retirement Plan effective Jan. 1. If you have questions, contact Human Resources or one of the approved KBOR Voluntary 403(b) Plan investment providers. More information is available at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?796.

* WSU has used Electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAFs) for student and graduate assistants for more than a year. Locating the correct dates and other information can be challenging for any originator. Dust off the ePAF cobwebs and join us in the lab Thursday, Jan. 13 or 20 for a refresher session. For the complete story, go to http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/wsunews/cnews/?cnid=5960.

* The Wichita State debate team continues to compete at a high level, despite tougher competition than previous seasons. http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/wsunews/news/?nid=1314

* WSU engineering alum Thor Kissman recently helped launch the SkyTerra1 satellite from Kazakhstan. Once operational, this satellite will allow personal PDA/smartphones that have a view of the southern sky to connect from anywhere in the United States, virtually removing bad cell coverage. http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/wsunews/news/?nid=1315
