The National Science Foundation will hold a workshop, "Science: Becoming the Messenger" on Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Oread Hotel near the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence. An invitation to attend is extended to principal investigators, early career researchers and engineers, graduate students, postdocs, public information officers and communications staff from institutions and universities in Kansas who would like to learn to communicate effectively to a broad audience. There is no registration fee to attend but pre-registration is required. The registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 14.
