The Wichita Thunder hockey team plans to recognize those battling cancer and cancer survivors at a Pink in the Rink night at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, in Intrust Bank Arena. All fans are encouraged to wear their cancer awareness pink color to the game. A special luminary ceremony will occur during the first intermission to celebrate those who have won the fight and those who have lost their battle. Cancer survivors are invited to participate in the ceremony by contacting Victory in the Valley, the Wichita Thunder, or at the fan relations table behind section 121 on the night of the game.
