A recent book, "Academically Adrift," makes the case that students are not learning what they should in college. Couple this with our own data about low retention and graduation rates at WSU and we are faced with the question, "What can we do about the lack of learning demonstrated by students?" Faculty and staff are invited to an open forum to discuss the book and strategies for improving student learning and success at WSU from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, in 203 RSC.
