* Darren DeFrain, associate professor of English and director of the writing program, will discuss what he learned about best pedagogical practices as an OFDSS Student Success Faculty Fellow in a session called "Five Ways to Promote Student Success in your Course Redesign," from 12:30-1:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 24) in 115B Neff Hall.
* Check out KPTS Channel 8's new community affairs program Impact, which airs at 8 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 24). Jesse Huxman, director of content for KPTS, interviewed Ulrich Museum Director Patricia McDonnell about the Ulrich's photographs by Gordon Parks for the Impact show in conjunction with Black History Month. The Parks photos are on view on the museum's first floor through May 8.
* WSU's That Gay Group announces its upcoming Allies Meeting at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 24) in 007 RSC, celebrating those who support the attitude that basic humanity, not sexuality or gender identity, determine a person's rights.
