Faculty and staff are asked to encourage qualified students to apply for a James J. Rhatigan Leadership Scholarship by 5 p.m. Friday, March 11, in the Office of Financial Aid, 203 Jardine Hall. Applicants must be able to illustrate leadership skills, commitment to academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher), financial need and service to the university and community. Applications are available at http://www.wichita.edu/sga.

In addition, all applicants must be a current WSU student, have at least 60 credit hours completed before the fall semester, have at least two additional semesters of work to complete, enroll as a full-time students during the period of the award and maintain a GPA of 3.0 throughout the award period.
