* Get information on common signs and symptoms of ADHD and learning disabilities and how the Counseling and Testing Center is here to help in a presentation from noon-12:30 p.m. today (Monday, March 7) in 007 RSC. Come for some great tips from Amy Barfield while enjoying light refreshments.
* Information meetings about the WSU summer program in Puebla, Mexico, have been scheduled for 12:30 p.m. today (Monday, March 7) and 8 a.m. Friday, March 11, in 200 Lindquist Hall. Contact Eunice Myers, director of the summer program, for more information at eunice.myers@wichita.edu.
* The University Bookstore reminds faculty and staff who plan on taking part in the May 2011 commencement ceremonies to place their order for academic regalia. The deadline for purchase and rental orders is Friday, March 18. To place an order, stop by the bookstore from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call Julie at 978-7021, or Noura at 978-7035.
* Adobe Demonstration Day will be held from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, March 10, in 100 Lindquist Hall. Adobe representatives will highlight and demonstrate functions in Acrobat X and Creative Suite 5 software packages. A detailed agenda is available at http://www.wichita.edu/learnmore. * The Office of the Provost asks faculty to encourage students in their classes to participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). E-mail messages, with a link to the online survey, were sent to students in February asking for their participation. A final reminder will go out Tuesday, March 29. In appreciation for participating, WSU will enter all students into a drawing for five gift certificates worth $100 each.
