Theatre department to present student-produced show

The School of Performing Arts theatre department will present "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf," at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, March 16-19, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, in Wilner Auditorium. Crafted by African-American playwright Ntozake Shange in 1974, this work explores the struggles of six women and their stories of lost love, physical abuse and emotional turmoil. The production is student directed by Kylie Jo Jennings. It is rated R for colorful language and sexual references. For tickets, call 978-3233.
