The first and second rounds of the NCAA Women's Basketball Division I Championships are being held at Intrust Bank Arena. The tournament started Sunday, March 20, and will conclude this evening (Tuesday, March 22). Faculty, staff and 35 students from WSU's sport management department are involved in conducting the event. The students, under the direction of Mike Ross, an instructor in sport management and the event's media coordinator, are working in a range of positions, most pertaining to media services. Ross has worked in event planning with the NCAA and with WSU Athletics for a year in preparation for this event.
