Faculty input sought in survey of student engagement

Recently, a number of WSU students participated in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), which asked them about their college experience, how much time they spend studying and the types of interactions they have with faculty. The results from the study will be used in a variety of ways, including assessment, institutional improvement, and prompting discussion on teaching and learning initiatives.

In order to prepare for a full discussion of the results, faculty are invited to complete a faculty version of the survey, Faculty Survey of Student Engagement or FSSE.

This survey will be sent to you via an email link and take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary. Please be assured that your responses will be confidential and kept anonymous to anyone at Wichita State. All faculty responses will be summarized by the Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University. If you have any questions about this project, contact associate provost Richard Muma at richard.muma@wichita.edu or 978-5761.
