Power and lights in Lindquist Hall will be taken out of service Thursday morning, March 24, to allow for required electrical maintenance service of building air-conditioning systems. This shutdown will begin by 8:45 a.m., and should last from three to four hours. All services are expected to be restored by 1 p.m. However, the outage is being scheduled for the morning hours to allow for afternoon work, in case difficulties arise. In that case, the outage may extend into the afternoon. Departments and individuals in Lindquist Hall should safeguard their computer work prior to the end of their workday on Wednesday, March 23, in anticipation of this power shutdown.
