In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, FOCUS (Feminists on Campus Uniting Students) has teamed up with the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center, WSU Police Department and other campus organizations to provide information about how to go from being a bystander to an upstander in the battle against sexual violence. This year's theme is "It's Time to Take a Stand!" Tabling, along with a clothesline display, will take place in Shocker Square in the RSC from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20. At 12:25 p.m. they will organize a freeze mob for three minutes and 22 seconds to recognize the 322 individuals who sought rape services at WASAC in the past year. Please stop by and show your support. Together we can work toward ending sexual violence on campus and in our community.
