Faculty and staff are invited to join WSU first lady Shirley Beggs' Striders 4 Life team in the upcoming Victory in the Valley walk/run on Saturday, May 21, at Exploration Place, 300 N. McLean. The team registration deadline is Tuesday, May 17. To join Shirley's team, go to http://www.victoryinthevalley.org and click on "Register for Race Online." On the form, use the drop box for the team name and select Shirley's Striders 4 Life. For team captain, put Shirley Beggs or Shirley's Striders. You are welcome to participate in the walk/run or simply make a donation to support the team and Victory in the Valley, a nonprofit cancer support organization with the mission to help and encourage cancer patients and families.
