* Budget officers and budget review officers are invited to attend one of the upcoming FY12 Budget Information and Enterprise Reporting Training sessions today (Monday, May 2) to Thursday, May 5. To view session dates, times and register for class, log on to myWSU and select the Help for Faculty/Staff tab. * Veronica O'Toole, visiting Fulbright-Cognition Scholar from Christchurch, New Zealand, will present a Brown Bag Lunch Seminar at noon Tuesday, May 3, in 104 Hubbard Hall. * To share information about your program or services with new students, consider putting a flier in Orientation packets. The Office of Admissions is collecting information for folders issued during check-in at Orientation programs this summer and next spring. We will need 2,500 copies of your information by May 15. * Join WSU first lady Shirley Beggs' Striders 4 Life team in the upcoming Victory in the Valley walk/run on Saturday, May 21, at Exploration Place, 300 N. McLean. To join, go to http://www.victoryinthevalley.org and click on "Register for Race Online." On the form, use the drop box for the team name and select Shirley's Striders 4 Life. For team captain, put Shirley Beggs or Shirley's Striders. You also are welcome to simply make a donation to support the team and Victory in the Valley, a nonprofit cancer support organization.

* The WSU Concert Band and Chamber Winds, under the direction of Victor Markovich, will present their second concert of the semester at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at the First United Methodist Church, 330 N. Broadway St. Call 978-3233 for tickets.
