* Meet the WSU students who recently completed their Master of Fine Arts degree at the School of Art and Design MFA Meet-the-Artists reception from noon-1:30 p.m. today (Friday, May 6) at the Ulrich Museum. * The School of Nursing is honoring Heather Baker, pediatric nurse practitioner, at a retirement reception from 3-5 p.m. today (Friday, May 6) with remarks at 4 p.m. in the Sudermann Room, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring personal care items for women. The items will be presented to the Harbor House of Wichita in Heather's name.

* Join the Elliott School of Communication in bidding a fond farewell to Susan Huxman, director of the Elliott School, in a come-and-go reception from 4-6 p.m. today (Friday, May 6) in the commons and patio of Elliott Hall. Brief remarks will be made at 5 p.m. Huxman is beginning a new adventure as president of Conrad Grebel University College in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

* The WSU baseball team will host Creighton at 6:30 p.m. today (Friday, May 6); 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7; and 1 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at Eck Stadium. Call 978-3267 for tickets.
