The City of Wichita Water Department will shut down water service to the east half of campus from 1-4 p.m. Friday, May 20, to investigate damage to a 24-inch main line isolation valve, and plan for a longer repair outage at a later date in the next three to five months.

The buildings affected by this water shutdown, in which restroom and water fountain services will be unavailable, are as follows:

Aviation Test Laboratory
Braeburn Golf Course Pro Shop
Campus Credit Union
Central Energy Center
Eck Stadium
Engineering Research Laboratory Building
Grace Wilkie Hall
Heskett Center (including restrooms and locker rooms)
Lindquist Hall
Marcus Welcome Center
Media Resources Center
National Institute for Aviation Research
Printing/Publications
University Police
Wallace Hall
Wilkins Softball Stadium
Woodman Alumni Center

Buildings that do not appear on this list are not anticipated to have any water shutdowns and can be visited by affected building occupants as facility needs arise.
