* The last normal check run will be the week of June 20 for the fiscal year end, according to the WSU Foundation. Requisitions will be due at the foundation by 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, for checks to be issued on Friday, June 24. The foundation also will provide an opportunity for any items that need to be processed prior to the fiscal year end. Turn those requisitions in by 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, for checks to be available Thursday, June 30.

* The Intensive English Language Center needs volunteers to be conversation leaders helping international students practice conversational English. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, apply at http://webs.wichita.edu/ielc-lab/conversation.html, or send an email to william.thomas@wichita.edu or call 978-6446. This summer, the Wednesday sessions are 10 a.m.-noon and 2:15-4:15 p.m.

* Remember to submit your campus events to the online calendar for WSU at http://www.wichita.edu/calendarsubmit. Early entry is crucial to campus planners, campus media and statewide print and broadcast media, all of whom need to know the date, place and cost of any individual event.
