The McNair Scholars Program (173B Grace Willkie Annex) is accepting applications from WSU students for the 2011-2012 academic year. The program provides effective preparation for graduate school to WSU undergraduate students. African-American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Hispanic/Latino, and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students are strongly encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Monday, July 18. Applicants must have completed 40+ credit hours; have a 2.75 or higher GPA or a 3.0 in the last 60 credit hours; meet federal TRIO eligibility requirements of a first generation and low-income student; and have the desire to one day study at the doctoral level.
