* KMUW's Frank Dudgeon will talk with Donald Gilstrap, new dean of University Libraries at Wichita State, regarding Gilstrap's new position and the future of libraries in the digital age. The interview will air at about 8:33 a.m. today (Tuesday, July 19) during Morning Edition on KMUW 89.1. The interview also will be posted at http://www.kmuw.org.

* WSU Libraries is offering a summer workshop on citation searching for faculty preparing tenure, promotion and other documents from 2:30-3:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, July 19) in 217 Ablah Library. To sign up for a workshop, contact Elaine Harvey at 978-5072 or Cathy Moore-Jansen at 978-5080.

* The parking lot on the west side of Eck Stadium, Lot 19, will be closed and unavailable today (Tuesday, July 19) for the Drums Across Kansas special event.

* The university is hosting the USA Track & Field Junior Olympics July 26-31. Preparation for and participation in this large special event means that Lots 3, 3N, 2E and 2N adjacent to the east and west sides of Cessna Stadium and the north side of Koch Arena will be unavailable now through Tuesday, Aug. 2.

* Are you going to hire a student or graduate assistant in the fall and are new to the ePAF process? ePAF Approver and Originator training sessions are scheduled today (Tuesday, July 19) through Thursday, July 21. In addition, "ePAFs for Originators: Refresher Sessions" are held the second Thursday of each month. The ePAF Open Lab is in session every Thursday from 2-3:30 p.m. To view the training calendar and to register, log in to myWSU and select the Help for Faculty/Staff tab.
