The students of the TRIO Upward Bound Math Science Regional Center invite faculty and staff to the 2011 UBMS Research Symposium. After five weeks of experimentation and analysis, these talented youths will present their research and experimental findings from 9 a.m.-2:15 p.m. Friday, July 15, in 211 Hubbard Hall. Topics range from the fitness value of Wii Sports to the chemistry of fireworks' colors to the spinal strain caused by backpacks. A poster board competition will be held from 11:55 a.m.-12:25 p.m. outside 211 Hubbard Hall. Guests are invited to participate in judging the poster boards.
