* Students of the TRIO Upward Bound Math Science Regional Center invite faculty and staff to the 2011 UBMS Research Symposium. These talented youths will present their research and experimental findings from 9 a.m.-2:15 p.m. today (Friday, July 15) in 211 Hubbard Hall. A poster board competition will be held from 11:55 a.m.-12:25 p.m. outside 211 Hubbard Hall. Guests are invited to participate in judging the poster boards.

* Faculty and staff are invited to attend the second monthly WSU iPad user group meeting at noon today (Friday, July 15) in 210 McKnight. Please join in the discussion, regardless of whether you have an iPad or experience. Feel free to bring your own lunch. * The McNair Scholars Program (173B Grace Willkie Annex) is accepting applications from WSU students for the 2011-2012 academic year. The program provides effective preparation for graduate school to WSU undergraduate students. African-American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Hispanic/Latino and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander students are strongly encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Monday, July 18.
