Reminders

* WSU employees are urged to update their department listings at http://wichita.edu/departments. If the information for your department is accurate, no action is necesary. However, if there are any inaccuracies or changes, please submit the information at the link provided.

* WSU Foundation checks for the week of Aug. 1 will not be available for distribution until Monday, Aug. 8. The deadline for that week will remain at Wednesday, Aug. 3.

* The McNair Scholars Program will host its 16th Annual Closing Symposium from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, July 29, in 203 Rhatigan Student Center. This is an opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase the hard work they have done in conducting scholarly research with WSU faculty. Come and show your support.

* The last day to submit events for Welcomefest is Friday, July 29. Any events submitted after this date will not be included in Welcomefest 2011 publicity. To submit a form, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1100.

* WSU's Center for Entrepreneurship is offering a summer seminar designed for today's entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to keep up with the latest technology shifts. The seminar is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in Devlin Hall. To register, go to http://tinyurl.com/3pso8rb
