Reminders

* Faculty and staff are invited to celebrate Mike Call's retirement at a reception from 3-5 p.m. today (Tuesday, Aug. 2) in the Purchasing Conference Room in the basement of Morrison Hall, room 021. Call, assistant director of the Purchasing Office, is retiring after serving WSU for 19 years.

* WSU Foundation checks for the week of Aug. 1 will not be available for distribution until Monday, Aug. 8. The deadline for that week will remain at Wednesday, Aug. 3.

* University Libraries is offering a number of summer workshops on citation searching for faculty preparing tenure, promotion and other documents. The fourth workshop will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, in 217 Ablah Library. To sign up, contact Elaine Harvey at 978-5072 or Cathy Moore-Jansen at 978-5080.

* The Heskett Center is closed now through Sunday, Aug. 7, for maintenance. The business office will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 4-5, for purchasing memberships and other business.

* WSU employees are urged to update their department listings at http://wichita.edu/departments. If the information for your department is accurate, no action is necesary. However, if there are any inaccuracies or changes, please submit the information at the link provided.
