* Faculty and staff are invited to a retirement reception for Denise Morgan from 1:30-3 p.m. today (Friday, Aug. 12) in the classroom of Gaddis Physical Plant Building. Morgan has worked in the landscape department as an equipment operator for 18 years.

* The State of Kansas has announced a Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program (VRIP) that provides incentives to eligible, classified State of Kansas employees who offer to retire between now and Sept. 19. The VRIP is not available to employees covered under the Kansas Police and Firemen Plan or employees who have previously retired from the State of Kansas.
