An office on campus has recently received many calls from a company identifying itself as Yellow Local Directory or Yellow Pages.com claiming that it needed to authorize termination of its company listing. The office was told if they didn’t terminate by tomorrow, it will renew the service and charge the office $499.99. After checking, it was determined that there was no such listing and that the call was not valid. If you doubt the validity of a call, the best advice is to contact Ted D.
