Admissions Brown Bag Lunch Series to begin Aug. 29
This is an opportunity to meet with Office of Admissions staff for prescribed topics as listed below or to have discussion about other recruitment and admissions initiatives. No need to RSVP in advance. Simply bring your lunch and join in on the open conversation.
Conducting a College Search and How to Pay for College -- 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 207 RSC
April Keim, assistant director of financial aid, and Bobby Gandu, director of admissions, will host this forum to help attendees be informed about college selection/search and the accompanying financial aid and scholarship application processes. All are welcome to attend to discuss the college search for their own children and/or a college search geared toward attending WSU.
College of Education -- 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 155 Corbin Education Center
This session will serve as an open forum for dialogue regarding recruitment and admissions specifically for new College of Education majors. Attendees can come prepared with questions or thoughts, or simply hear about the ongoing recruitment efforts coordinated by the Office of Admissions. Kathryn Shepherd, senior admissions representative, and Bobby Gandu, director of admissions, will attend and moderate the discussion.
Forming Collaborative Recruiting Partnerships -- 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 207 RSC
Connie Dietz, director of Cooperative Education and Work-Based Learning, and Bobby Gandu, director of admissions, will discuss how their units have forged strong working relationships in the recruitment and admissions process, and how that has carried over to high-level awareness of internship options for incoming students.
College of Health Professions -- 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 429 Ahlberg Hall
This session will serve as an open forum for dialogue regarding recruitment and admissions, specifically for new health professions majors. Attendees can come prepared with their own questions or thoughts, or simply be invited to hear about the ongoing recruitment efforts coordinated by the Office of Admissions. Mandy Ronen, admissions program coordinator, and Bobby Gandu, director of admissions, will attend and present.
