Hugh C. "Butch" Thompson, recently retired landscaper and equipment operator, passed away Friday, Aug. 19. He was 60. He served WSU for 28 years, retiring in July 2011. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Kechi Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at noon in Wiedemann Hall. Rev. Reuben Eckels will be officiating.
