The Wichita State University Women's Association is committed to serving the interests of the university, to providing student scholarships and to promoting social interaction among its members. The first meeting for the 2011-12 academic year is the WSU Women's Association Brunch at the WSU president's home hosted by First Lady Shirley Beggs from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14. Reservations are required via e-mail to Virginia Murphey at gdmurphey@sbcglobal.net or call 682-7387 by Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Membership in the Women's Association includes faculty, administrative and unclassified staff women, and all faculty, administrative and unclassified staff wives who pay annual dues.

Dues are $15 and collected annually. Members may attend monthly meetings, and join one or more interest groups that meet separately.

To ensure your inclusion in the annual yearbook, join or renew your membership by Wednesday, Oct. 5.
