The Application for Degree (AFD) is now offered only online. All new AFDs (from this point forward) will be accepted through a new link in the myWSU portal under Student Resources (Graduation Links). This link can also be added to college websites (https://webapps.wichita.edu/degreecard). Please help the Office of the Provost communicate this new requirement to students who are nearing graduation.

As of today (Friday, Aug. 26), discard any blank paper AFDs as these will no longer be accepted going forward. We realize the College Record Managers have some completed paper copies on hand. Those will still be accepted. However, AFDs dated today and beyond will need to be submitted electronically.

It is also important to point out that an exit survey will be attached to the AFD, which will allow the university to collect assessment data from the perspective of both undergraduate and graduate students. This information will be given to colleges, departments and programs as they assess their academic offerings.
