* The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites students, staff and faculty to make OMA their home away from home. Stop by to learn more about available resources and fall programs at an open house from 2-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 31) in 174 Grace Wilkie Annex. Light refreshments will be served.

* The Library Open House will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 31) in Ablah Library, and at both satellite campuses from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1. Get connected to WSU's wireless network (bring your laptop) and learn about library services available to students, faculty and staff, both on and off-campus.

* Faculty and staff are invited to information sessions about GradesFirst, WSU's new academic early alert system, from both the instructor and the student perspective. Sessions will be held 2-3 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 31) in 101 Lindquist Hall; and 2-3 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, in 215 Wallace Hall. * The Graduate School Office will have a second mandatory workshop for new GTAs from 10:30-11:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 31) in 107 McKinley Hall. * Faculty and staff are invited to attend the annual Admissions and Recruitment Workshop sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for the latest in admissions information, policies and recruiting practices. In addition, the Office of Financial Aid will present the latest in financial aid guidelines and practices to interested individuals immediately following the admissions session.
