The inaugural event of the new Chamber Music Series featuring the St. Petersburg String Quartet, WSU's Quartet-in-Residence, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, in Wiedemann Recital Hall. Over the course of seven performances throughout the year, they will play the Shostakovich cycle of 15 string quartets and six Beethoven quartets. Tickets are $3 for students, $6 for faculty/staff and $7 for the general public.
