The Intensive English Language Center needs volunteers to be conversation leaders, spending time on Wednesdays helping international students practice conversational English. If you have an interest in other cultures and are a good listener, you probably would enjoy being a conversation leader, says Bill Thomas, who coordinates the conversation class. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, send an email expressing your interest to william.thomas@wichita.edu. For the next few weeks, the Wednesday sessions are 10 a.m.-noon, noon-2 p.m. and 2:15-4:15 p.m.
