* WSU faculty and staff are invited to a retirement reception for John Goldsmith from 2-3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 14) in the Gaddis Physical Plant classroom. Goldsmith worked for the Physical Plant for 26 years.
* The Fall 2011 Physics Seminar Series will feature professor Jerry Peterson from the University of Colorado at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 14) in 128 Jabara Hall. The Fall 2011 Chemistry Colloquium series presents Bob Blackledge, ACS speaker, at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 14) in 224 McKinley Hall.
* Hear a presentation on Mexican/Chicano identity and history featuring poet, emcee and actor Michael Reyes at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 14) in the CAC Theater. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by WSU's Multicultural Affairs.
