CMD program: 'Quality Control and Six Sigma'

The Center for Management Development will present "Quality Control and Six Sigma" from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 25-26, in Woodman Alumni Center. In this program you will learn the most effective quality tools including flowcharts, Pareto Analysis and many others.

You will be able to apply what you learn by playing the famous "Deming's Red Bead Experiment." This seminar will also give you an introduction to the fundamentals of Six Sigma and its five-step quality improvement cycle -- DMAIC, which is a systematic problem solving approach for improving business processes in both manufacturing and service organizations.

Sue Abdinnour, a professor in the Barton School of Business, presents this two-day session. Lunch is provided.
