Wichita State's Counseling and Testing Center is offering an ACT Prep Workshop to help high school students prepare for the ACT from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 8. The workshops will present general test-taking tips and practice questions for the English, reading, math and science test sections. The cost for the workshops is $28, and registration can be done online at http://www.registerblast.com/wsu. The next national test date for the ACT is Saturday, Oct. 22.
