* A gathering of 10 survivors and 10 perpetrators of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda are featured in a documentary "Icyizere" (Rwandan for "hope"). The documentary will be shown at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 5) in the CAC Theater. Kenyan filmmaker Patrick Mureithi will lead a discussion after the screening. * The Application for Degree (AFD) is now offered only online. All new AFDs (from this point forward) will be accepted through a new link in the myWSU portal under Student Resources (Graduation Links). This link can also be added to college websites (https://webapps.wichita.edu/degreecard). * The state of Kansas deadline for its voluntary retirement incentive program for eligible employees is Friday, Oct. 14, to submit their paperwork for the incentive. Those employees will need to set their retirement date no later than Oct. 31, 2011.
