* For staff and faculty who have the state health insurance, the state will once again be at WSU Friday, Oct. 28, to administer flu vaccine at no charge (charges will be filed on your insurance). * The Admissions Brown Bag Lunch Series continues at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, in 207 RSC for faculty, staff and students. Connie Dietz, director of Cooperative Education and Work-Based Learning, and Bobby Gandu, director of admissions, will discuss how their units have forged strong working relationships in the recruitment and admissions process, and how that has carried over to high-level awareness of internship options for incoming students.

* The 16th annual 5K Pumpkin Run/Walk around the WSU campus will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. WSU faculty/staff are encouraged to form a team. The team with the most participants will receive a trophy and bragging rights. You must register by Friday, Oct. 14, to be guaranteed a T-shirt.
