Tunnel of Oppression, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 203 RSC
The Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive learning experience for all members of the WSU community. Participants will go through a series of rooms and depictions and enactments of discriminatory behavior. The purpose is to give people firsthand knowledge of some of the discrimination that occurs today. It is intended to be eye-opening and consciousness building. The rationale is that individuals are unable to fully understand oppression and discrimination until they have experienced it firsthand.
