Faculty and staff are invited to "An Afternoon with Tim O'Brien" at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in 231 Hubbard Hall. Author Tim O'Brien will give a public lecture followed by a book signing at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in Lowe Auditorium, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. O'Brien is the award-winning author of this year's Big Read book, "The Things They Carried." Books by O'Brien will be available for sale before and after the lecture.
