Last academic year the Tilford Group Commission, in collaboration with the Office of the Provost, established Incentive Grants to Infuse Diversity and Multicultural Learning Outcomes in the Curriculum. Grant recipients were awarded a $4,000 stipend to develop new courses or modify existing courses to enhance their diversity component. These classes can be piloted models for faculty in the creation of new courses with enhanced diversity-related themes or how to modify and enhance the diversity-related content in existing courses. Several grant recipients will participate in a panel discussion to share their experiences at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the RSC ballroom. The panel is co-sponsored by the Office of Faculty Development and Student Success and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
