* Akosua Adomako Ampofo, this year's recipient of Sociologists for Women in Society's Feminist Activist Award and director of the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana, will present "Responding to Violence: Local Activism in a Global Context" at 7 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 14) in the CAC Theater. * Toolika Ghose, a doctoral student in electrical engineering and computer science, is the first recipient of the Maha "Maggie" Sawan Fellowship for Graduate Students at Wichita State University. * The fall Entrepreneurship Forum Series for Business Ownership will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, in 107 Devlin Hall. The final of three sessions will feature Wichita native Jack DeBoer. The first 200 in attendance will receive a copy of DeBoer's book, "Risk Only Money." DeBoer is the founder of the extended-stay hotel concept. Admission is free.
