Join artist Terry Evans for an illustrated talk, "Matfield Green Stories," on her most recent work at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in 210 McKnight Art Center West (School of Art and Design). Museum galleries will be open until 6 p.m., and admission is free. Evans first came to national attention for her aerial photographs of the Tallgrass Prairie in Kansas in the 1970s and '80s. Her most recent images capture the small town of Matfield Green, nestled in the Flint Hills just east of Wichita. This event is part of Buzz-Worthy Art Talks, a lecture series featuring prominent voices in today's visual culture.
