* Help the WSU Child Development Center support some outstanding resources in the community for expectant and new mothers and families as it raises donations for the Treehouse and Wichita Children's Home. * A photographic exhibit, "Fa'a Samao: The Samoan Way," can be seen in the main corridor of Ablah Library through Friday, Dec. 2. The exhibit features photographs of daily life in a American Samoa village by the late Dr. Lowell D. Holmes, founder of the WSU Department of Anthropology. The exhibit also features original objects of Samoan culture.

* Two-time Pulitzer Prize winning author for the New York Times, Eric Schmitt, will speak before the Wichita Committee on Foreign Relations at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Wichita Marriott. * Work out at the Heskett Center during Thanksgiving break and you can enter your name into a drawing for a pedometer, a first-aid kit, a T-shirt, gym bag or three sessions of personal training. The Heskett Center will be open until 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 23); closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24-25; and open from 1-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 26-27.
