* For those who turned in an RSVP, there will be an open forum on using WSU's visual standards and style guide from 10-11:30 a.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 29) in 203 RSC.
* Ponka-We Victors, state representative of the 103rd District in Kansas, a member of the Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona and Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma, and an alumna of WSU, will present "The State of the Native American Student in Higher Education," at 6 p.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 29) in 203 RSC.
* Today (Tuesday, Nov. 29) is Day 2 of the University Bookstore's 12 Days of Christmas Sale. Today's special is skull candy inked and Riot headphones for just $9.99, regularly $12.99.
* Student Activities Council wants to help you advertise your event and recruit students. Welcomefest Spring 2012 Destination: Shocknation takes place Tuesday, Jan. 17-Saturday, Jan. 28. SAC will advertise your event or activity in Welcomefest advertisements if you submit your event by today (Tuesday, Nov. 29) at http://www.wichita.edu/welcomefestform.
* The Fall Physics Seminar Series will feature WSU professor Thomas DeLillo presenting "Mathematcial-Physics Open Research Questions" Wednesday, Nov. 30, in 128 Jabara Hall. Please note: The time has been moved to 1:30 p.m. so LAS faculty can attend a reception for the Professor of the Year after the Physics Seminar Series.
* The next speaker in the Fall 2011 Chemistry Colloquium series, professor Kent Gates of the University of Missouri-Columbia, will speak on "Endogenous and Exogenous Small Molecules for the Regulation of Protein Tyrosine Phosphatases" at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in 224 McKinley Hall.
