Construction project begins at Police Building
Important information because of construction at the Police Building:
1. The Police Building is closed to the public.
2. For emergency services, continue to call 911 from campus telephones or 978-3450 from non-campus telephones.
3. Police services have been moved to the Printing Building, located south of the Credit Union.
4. University trip cars may only be picked up and dropped off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
5. The parking services office is open between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
6. Fingerprinting services are temporarily not available. Those services may be accessed at the Wichita-Sedgwick County Law Enforcement Training Center at 2235 W. 37th St. N., and the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office at 3803 E. Harry, Suite 119.
Police services available to the public from the temporary police office at the Printing Building include obtaining safety information and campus information, making campus parking inquiries, and inspection of the daily crime log and campus sex offender list.
Additionally, during December, check-in and check-out for university trip cars will be processed at the temporary police office and will be restricted to regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
Nearly all police services should be accessible at the Police Building during the remainder of the construction project from January-March 2012.
