* The Counseling and Testing Center will be closed all day Monday, Dec. 19, for staff training and development. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20.

* The Pre-Tenure Club will have an informal social gathering from 4-7 p.m. today (Friday, Dec. 16) at Larry Bud's, a casual bar near the southeast corner of Woodlawn and 21st. All probationary faculty are welcome.

* As we approach the end of the calendar year, it is crucial to have all checks and cash deposited so the donor receives credit for the gifts in the proper year 2011. The WSU Foundation offices are open during the holiday break except for Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2, so be sure to check your desks and send over any gifts from donors before you have a well-deserved holiday break. For details, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1359.

* The Performance Management Process for classified employees is due by Dec. 22. If you have any questions, call Joan Antes, 978-6151 or Frankie Brown, 978-3540.

* From the Office of Financial Operations: Monday, Dec. 19, is the last day to submit ICDs (Invoice Control Document) and invoices for direct payment requests to be processed prior to the holiday shutdown. ICDs received after that day will be processed in January. Dec. 19 also is the last day to return departmental VISA procurement log sheets with your funding, receipts and approvals.
