KMUW (FM 89.1) music shows during January will highlight the best music of 2011. World music show Global Village (weeknights at 7 p.m.), rock, alternative and indie show Strange Currency (Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m.), jazz show Night Train (Monday through Thursday at 10 p.m.) and blues show Crossroads (Friday at 10 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m.) will all feature show favorites and various award winners, nominees and honorees for the year.
