* Library orientation for the spring semester will be held from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Meet by the Circulation Desk in Ablah Library to start the tour. You may also contact angela.paul@wichita.edu or your department liaison librarian to schedule orientations for your class or student group.
* The postage cost will increase effective Sunday, Jan. 22. If you want to save some money, stop by the Campus Post Office and purchase a book of stamps for $8.80 and rolls of forever stamps for $44, before the price goes up to $9 and $45, respectively. * The Regional Institute on Aging is announcing three graduate student research awards to be funded at $3,000 each for a one-year period for direct research costs, assuming receipt of an adequate number of high quality applications.
