The Intensive English Language Center needs volunteers to be conversation leaders. Conversation leaders spend time on Wednesdays helping international students practice English conversation skills. If you have an interest in other cultures and are a good listener, you might enjoy being a conversation leader. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, send an email message to william.thomas@wichita.edu. For the next few weeks until the middle of this semester, the Wednesday sessions are 11 a.m.-1 p.m., noon-2 p.m., 1-3 p.m. and 2:15-4:15 p.m. For the second half of the semester the schedule of Wednesday sessions might change.
