Throughout February, KMUW FM 89.1 music shows Global Village, Night Train and Crossroads team up for a Mardi Gras celebration with music of New Orleans. In Global Village, it's music from one of the great families of New Orleans, the Neville Brothers; Night Train highlights New Orleans jazz; and Crossroads focuses in on Crescent City blues and R&B. In addition, Night Train features the four-part Jazz Profiles series on Louis Armstrong Monday nights and concert performances from New Orleans artists at the Newport and Savannah Festivals Tuesday nights.
